Explanation op de photo's
Camel
safari
When do you get the change to ride a camel? So I wanted to
be part of the camel safari. When you look at a camel, you see it's a big
animal and he's actualy very ugly. The skin of his knees look strange, but
that's just hard skin.
A camel doesn't have hoofs, but he has toes. The camels all
wear a muzzle becaus otherwise the bite. They made a quit and lazy
impression at me. (I agree with them: to be relaxed is best in that burning
sun)
To get onto a camel is quite difficult, because they're very
high, even when they bent over their (bad looking) knees. When you sit, it's
not difficult to ride a camel.
The trip went to the nature south of Sousse
and we saw a lot of sand and cactus.
It's absolutely necessary to have some suncream and when you're bold (like
me), to have a cap. The water I brought was gone, before I noticed. Halfway
the trip there was a stop, where the sold drinks and (expensive) photo's.
The camel safari was an intresting but thirst making experience.
A price winner
At the Levob insurance company
they have hold a holiday photo game. The best photo's won a little price and
were opublished in the personell magazine. I did sent two photo's: photo (no 6)
with the title "voetvolk" (feet people,
which means in Dutch the rank and file). The other photo (no 8)
I gave the title "paticipation". I
think also because of the irony of those titles I won a smal price with
photo no 8.
