De Grote Marktstraat (The Big Market street)
This is the street with the big stores. Nearby De Grote Marktstraat you can finde the big market.Center
In the center there're many shops. The names of the streets tell you something about the past. At the riviervischmarkt (river fish market) used to be a fish market, at the groenmarkt (green market ) used to be a market for vegatables etc.The old Town Hall
The old Town Hall at the Groenmarkt is from 1565 and is extented in 1733 with an extra part. In this part you can find the "Blauwe Kamer" (Blue Room) that is been used as a wedding room. The deceased prinsess Juliana and the deceased prins Bernhard have been married in this room. In the room there can be 75 people.Plein (Plaza)
At the plaza there's every thirsday a book- and antique market. Don't forget to bargain!
