Explanation:

Aloisius

Aloisius is a Catholic Saint. He was born in Italy, Lombardia on march 5th 1568. When he was 17 years old, he gave up his noble rights and went to Rome to join the Jesuits. After a Theology study he started to nurse people who were suffering the plage. Unfortunately he also got infected by the plage and he died at the age of 23. At the age of 26 he has become a Saint.

The big church (De groote kerk)

Since 1335 the big church is already mentioned. The church at the picture is build in the 15th century. It was a Catholic church, but after the iconoclasm (beeldenstorm) the church became Protestant. Many members of the Royal family are babtized in this church. Now, the church is used for festivals etc.

st Jacobus

st Jacobus was one of the apostels of Jezus. After the dead of Jezus he preached a lot, but unforunately he had been killed for his preaching at the age of 44.

The st Jacobus Parish is founded in 1276 and it was the first Parish in The hague. The church in the Parkstraat was build in 1875 and finsihed in 1878. It's an important church, because it has a Dean. The church is still in use and often visited by high officals.

The Good Shepperd (De Goede Herder)

Parish The Good Shepperd is founded in 1923 in Wassenaar. After a temporary building they builded a new church that was ready in 1932. The Parish still exists and they can be found at the internet.:
