Pelicans
In the harboar from our boot there was a lot of fish.
A lot of pelicans were
close by and they ate the fish.
Drawing in the dessert
On our way to the Ballestas islands,
we suddenly passed a large
drawing in the desert, of a chandler. The
guide told us, it was unknown who hade made this drawing, but it
proberbly wqas hundreds of years old. You would expect the wind should
blow the drawing away, but apperently this doesn't happen.
Seals and sea dogs
When I read in the travel brochure I would see seals and
sea dogs at the Ballestas islands I didn't
expect much. I thought: when I can see a few seals, I'm more then
satisfied. I also expected to see the seals in a far distance. This trip
to the Ballestas islands was much better then I
expected. On the island there were laying hundreds of seals and the boat
wasonly about a 150 meters away from those islands. Most seals were
sunbathing or
sleeping and some others were fishing. At a certain moment some seals
were so close near the boat,
I could almost touch them!
