Your rights:
Well, that's easy: you don't get any rights or guarantee. When you're looking for a reliable host with good service and 100% in-line guarantee.... then you better look somewhere else. This free hosting service is only for people who wants a site for hobby and for who an off-line website is not the end of the world..

It's your site, so I don't have any copyrights on it. (But keep in mind that when something is published on the internet it can be copied.)

Conditions
Before I place your website you first have to send me a postcard or letter (With a stamp) (It would be nice to receive a postcard of your town.)

The site must be decent (I will be the judge of that) (Commercial sites, pornographic sites, racial sites, political sites etc. are not allowed.)

2-4 weeks before the end of the year, I will send you an e-mail with the message that your site will be deleted. However, when you send me another postcard before the end of the new year, your site will remain on my website.

I will keep the right to delete your site whenever I want. (For instance when I need memory) I supose this will not happen soon, because I have 1 gigabyte memory in total.

When I decide to delete your website, I will always send a message when possible. (For example: When I don't have your e-mail addresss I can't inform you)

Your website may not be bigger then 5mb.

Maximum changes: once a month.

I will not accept any liability. When you send the postcard (the application) you're fully responsible for the content of your site. Don't violate copyrights or other laws!

Technical details:
The site is hosted on a windows 2000 server with ASP. My host is: www.in.nl
PHP, CGI etc. is not supported. I will not give support when you have technical problems with your site. (Unless it doesn't cost me any time)

Amateurs
When you're a real amateur, you can send me a Word document, I will make a website of that page.
The procedure will be like this::
You've created a Word document (with pictures). A webpage can be longer then a page in Word, so when Word starts a new page, your webpage can continue. (Don't make your pages to long; people don't like to scroll.) In your Word document you will tell me where you want a new page. You just type: <<NEW PAGE>> Below that you type the title of this page. Save your Word document as document (.doc), Don't save it as a webpage!
When you've sent me the document by e-mail, I will make a website of it.

When you use exotic characters, backgrounds etc, the result can look different on other computers. Bookmarks will only work when they're on the same page.

Advanced users
I will send you an user number. Your website will be placed in a map AAA (user number). You will send me all your files and folders and I will place this in your map.

Advanced users and Amateurs
Give a title for your website and a short description (max. ca 25 characters) When you've tested your site, I will place this title and description on the page "guest sites" and make a hyperlink to your site.

Limits
This is an experiment, so I have no clue if anything will work as fine as I expect. Therefore I will not host more then 20 small sites. I will do my best to let anything work as good as possible, but that's all I can promisse.

(I will reserve 100mb memory space for guest sites (which is max. 20 sites with 5mb memory. I expect these sites will cost me no more then 1 day work a month.)

For applications I will have the rule: who's first will have the most rights.

Do mention:
Name, address, hometown, teletel* (*not obliged) and most important: your e-mail address.

I will not distribute your information to others. (Except when the Dutch authorities will ask me, or for instance when a computer-virus is doing things I don't know )

You will get an e-mail with further instructions. I also will give you an e-mail when your site is ready. When you're pleased, I will add your site to the page guest-sites.

Alternatives
There're also other possibilities for a free website. In Holland a good site for free website is www.residentie.net (The website of the town The Hague; but this one is in Dutch). There several possibilities to make a website on-line (for instance www.tripod.lycos.com) and there're also some free hosts. (You usually will see adverts: an example is: http://www.bravenet.com/webhosting/)
