expansions Copyright:
On this site there are lots of pictures and games that are not made by me.
Check the copyright by the original producers.(You can see the producers of
games usualy on the intro;
I've no idear how to find the original producer of a picture.) In case you
see some (by accident) violated copyright on my site, you can inform me and
I will remove it from my site. Keep in mind that there're sometimess
different copyright rules for commercial sites, so some things that are
allowed on my site are not allowed on a commercial site.
Pictures and text made by me, can be used copyright-free. U may not however,
pretend you're the producer and you may not use them for political,
commercial or bad purpose
Navigation on this
web-site
The main page gives you a selection between english and dutch language.
Unfortunately my english is not as good as my dutch, so I hope you don't
dislike this site because of the many language errors. You will find all pages
on the sitemap. For quick navigation you can best use the menu. To scroll
up or dow on a page, you can use the scrollbar on the right, or you can use
the home-made navigation triangles onb the left. To move the cursor from the
left to the right (and vice-versa) you can use the standard scrollbar on the
bottem of the page, or you can use the vertical stripes on the edges.
To keep the web-site readable for everyone, I've followed the standards of
the W3C-organisation. All pages with their logo are according the W3C-standards
and are therefore visible in several browsers. I've used pictures, scripts,
Movies, frames etc only when I thought this was functional.
I've used the following methods of navigation:
1: "Items at this page"
On top of the page, under the red sentence "Items at this page" I've put the
main issues in blew underlined words. By clicking such a blew underlined word,
the cursor jumps to this issue on the page.
2: "Hyperlinks"
In the MENU you will find the main pages
of this web-site. By clicking you will open the page.

Purpose of this
website
This website is a hobby I'm an unemployed Visual Basic
software engineer and I want to expand my knowledge. It's nice to do something
with the internet. Although I don't consider myself as an experienced
web-designer I now at least know something about the basics. In
februari I want to practise with a database on internet through ASP. Besides the
practise it's also gives a kick to receive as many possible (happy) visitors on
my side. I don't have the illusion I can make lots of money with this site;
so far it only cost me money. I do however hope that in future this site
can be used as a reference when sollicitating for jobs.
LOGO
The"face" is a rock I saw during onbe of my holidays. It could be a
symbol for seeing things: How many people have seen this rock, but didn't see
the face? As far as I know this face has not been made by humans and I've never
seen it mentioned in any travel-guide. All this was enough reason for me to
include this in my logo..

search enginesen and startpages
Thanks to several startpages en search engines I've found and judged several
links to other handy pages.
Other websites
By looking and visting interesting holiday-links I've seen several handy sites
and tools. I also got some information and links in
computermagazines and literature.

websites I get visitors to my site.
HTML
HTML = Hypertext Markup Language; (That doesn't explain a lot.)
HTML is a format language; with HTML you
make the apperance of the pages.
HTML is not a programming language.!!!
Inside the HTML-code you can
place scripts. A script is a
program, but it's not HTML!
You can write scripts in several languages. Some languages like
PHP and ASP are executed on the webserver, other scripts, like Javascripts and
VB scripts are executed on your home pc. It's not easy to write a script
yourself. On internet you can find a lot of free (mostly Java) scripts.
HTML is not very difficult. I did learn HTML
from library books and from the W3c website. You can see a very
basic HTML-page in the hyperlink below
explanationHTML
Click in the browser menu (for instance Internet Explorer)
at View-Source
and you will see the HTML-code of
the page.
